After breakfast in the morning, take a full day city tour of the world-famous Lingaraj and Mukteswar temples, which are noted for their exquisite architectural designs and Buddhist influences. After breakfast, go on a full-day excursion to Lalitigiri, an archaeological site of a Buddhist monastery that dates back to the fourth to eighth centuries AD. It features numerous votive stupas, a chapel, a large stupa that holds caskets containing Buddha’s relics, and various Buddhist sculptors. Ratnagiri is the largest Buddhist monastery that we are currently aware of. It flourished from the fourth to the fourteenth centuries AD and was home to most of the chiselers of the Vajrayanic sect, as well as a massive monastery. After that, go to Udaygiri, a huge Buddhist monastery that is still under excavation, and return to Bhubaneswar. Spend the night in the hotel.

Visit the Buddhist cave on Kayam Hill and Langudi Giri, a more recent ditch containing monastic ruins, stupas, and several Mahayanic sculptures, including the Five Dhyani Buddhas. The visit takes place in the morning after breakfast. Revisiting Bhubaneswar. Spend the night in the hotel.
